Political analyst Gideon Mamboleo says election of Gideon Moi as Senate ICT chair is a strategic move to get hold of IEBC's information infrastructure to frustrate William Ruto.
Despite supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta, the two are at loggerheads even with Moi's denial of underground deals with Uhuru.
"I will not join cabinet and I do not have intentions to. I am committed towards delivering to people," said Moi.
And with IEBC's information department yet to be reformed, Mamboleo says, the recent move could give Moi a slight edge over Ruto.
"We have issues to do with electoral body's ICT department which are yet to be solved. Kenya's elections will always be manipulated online.
"Moi, with such a strong position, he will have a bigger say on matters infrastructure and believe me, this is not good news to Ruto," he said.
In a scheme that NASA believes as orchestrated by Jubilee regime to rig August elections, electoral agency's ICT boss Chris Msando was murdered.
