Deputy President William RUto has said education is the only thing that can give children potential to compete with each other in the country.

Ruto said education is an equalizer in life.

"Education is the best gift we can give our children.Through education, we can create an equal platform for the young to pursue their life dreams," he said. 

Ruto was speaking at Njoro sub-county in Taita secondary school where he led a fund raising to built a laboratory in the school.

The Deputy President said education has helped him scale to greater heights despite his humble background.
