The Legilasture, through an exclusive phone interview with this writer, said a few individuals have criticized him for the initiative.

"I know there are those who have criticized me for the initiative but that will not kill my spirit of assisting our women," said Gikaria.

The Nakuru Town East legislature also appealed to women in his constituency and the nation at large to join groups and apply for funds set aside for them by the government.
