Gikaria said that the governor had gone against court orders in the hawkers relocation exercise.

"He is on the forefront of seeking to have leaders arrested and yet he breaks all the court orders. He also broke the law and should face justice," said Gikaria.

Gikaria was speaking to journalists on Tuesday in Nakuru town where he accused the governor of double standards.

"He cannot tell us to work together yet on the other hand he want us to be arrested," added Gikaria.

Gikaria was reacting to the calls by the governor at Afraha stadium on Monday seeking to have leaders who broke the law arrested and prosecuted.

Gikaria pointed out that the governor had ignored the court order that indicated that the hawkers should not be thrown out of their working premises before the issue was settled in the court.

"Kinuthia should stop intimidating leaders into submission. We are here to serve our people," reiterates Mbugua.

According to the legislator Kinuthia should present any evidence against any leader he thought had contravened the law.

The irate leader cited that the governor was rude and uttered irresponsible remarks.

Kinuthia Mbugua had on Madaraka day informed Nakuru Senator James Mungai to cross check his facts before defending any leader who had been arrested before defending him.
