A 38-year-old man was on Wednesday, arraigned in Naivasha court for allegedly exposing a minor to pornographic material.

Richard Mburu was charged for allegedly exposing the young girl to sex clips with the intention of encouraging her to perform such acts.

The court heard that on March 21, 2015, the 12-year- old girl went buy a loaf of bread and milk at Mburu's shop in GG area, Gilgil.

Mburu is then said to have called her and showed her the phonographic videos on his phone and went further to show her how to use the phone to access the videos.

As she was leaving, Mburu put the phone in her pocket and asked her to carry it home to watch the rest of the clips then return the phone the following day.

The young girl carried the phone to church on Sunday where she continued watching the videos before her Sunday school teacher noticed and confiscated the phone. On interrogation she confessed that Mburu had given her the phone.

The matter was taken to Gilgil police station and Mburu was arrested and later arraigned in court. He was released on a Sh 200,000 bond awaiting hearing on May 4,2014.
