Langalanga residents in Gilgil, Nakuru County have hailed the Nakuru Water and Sanitation Services Company (Nawassco) for providing them with clean water.
Speaking Thursday at Langalanga market, the residents lead by Nyumba Kumi chairman James Maina said there are now less cases of cholera since the company commissioned the piped water project in the estate.
"We are so glad the water company. This will go a long way in reducing diseases,"said Maina.
Tabitha Adeko, a grocery attendant, said; "The action by Nawassco will help prevent the rampant cases of cholera in this area."
