At one time or another, every girl has a thing for the guy who just doesn't play by the rules. He's perpetually angry, acts like a tough guy and looks damn good while doing it.
Sometimes it can be difficult to know what kind of guys to avoid and what kind of guys you want to be with, spend your time on and invest your emotions in.
So to help you navigate the often disaster studded dating pool, here are 11 types of guys to avoid at all costs: The big talkerThis is the guy who makes the big plans. He will talk about romantic trips you are going to take, a wedding, children and home ownership. He is all about the talk and never about the action.Something will always come up, or he'll pretend the conversation never happened to begin with. He will get your hopes up and let you down so often that you learn to put little to no faith in anything he ever says. Why do we stay?Because the plans sound great, and there is always a glimmer of hope they will actually come into fruition. But alas, you will always just end up disappointed.Mama's boyListen, I’ll be the first to say that a guy’s relationship with his mom is one of the more important factors to look at in a relationship, but… if he’s going to mommy for input on every single decision he makes in his life, it shows a lack of character on his part – and a danger sign for the future of a relationship he’s in. He probably tells his mom everything, literally EVERYTHING , and do you really want to sit at your in laws table wondering if his mom knows about that thing you wanted to try in the bedroom? Pass.
The Narcissist
He’s obsessed with himself. He’s got confidence coming out the wazoo. He thinks he’s the greatest gift ever bestowed onto the human race, and he’s not shy of telling people about it. Oh, and he’s IMPOSSIBLE to be in a relationship with. He’s always looking out for number one, and if there’s ever a decision he has to make, you can bet he’s putting himself first. Why tie your life to someone who’s always going to put his needs before yours? Give this guy a pass.
The player
This guy probably charmed the pants right off you when you first met (not literally but maybe literally). He’s a smooth operator when it comes to women – suspiciously smooth in fact. He’s always in flirt-mode wherever you go, and he always leaves you wondering whether you’re the only woman in his life or whether he’s just sticking with you until he finds a different woman to charm. He’s not going to change – and he’s not worth your time.
