With preparations in top-gear for Tuesday’s swearing in of President Kenyatta, the organizing committee is finalizing on the list of different guests to attend the occasion.
From dignitaries within the country to international guests, the list of attendees is long, as they come to witness president Kenyatta pick the instruments of power for the next five years.
Among the invited guests are Martin Kamotho, also known as githeri man, who came into ‘life’ during the August elections.
Kimotho was captured on camera with a bag of ‘githeri’ enjoying his meal on the queue on voting day.
The images went viral and he became an instant hit, something that changed his life completely.
He became an ambassador of different products, with many trying to tap from his new-found fame.
On Tuesday, it will be another high for the little-known Kimotho, as he is set to dine with the who is who in the country and across the continent.
The luncheon is a tradition in the country, with the president hosting guests at Statehouse after the swearing in.
Others who will have the privilege of dining with president Kenyatta and other guests include the top KCPE candidate in the recently released results Goldalyn Kakuya
