Siaya senator James Orengo has come out to criticise Attorney General Githu over his interpretation of the constitution.

Speaking over Muigai's recent pronouncements that President Uhuru Kenyatta is still the president of the country with full cosntiitutional powers, Orengo dismissed the AG's interpretation of the law as misleading and 'very backward'.

"He has a very backward interpretation of the law. I think he read his law in China," Orengo said.

He was speaking on Saturday at Sihai village of Ugenya where he had accompanied NASA leader Raila Odinga for the burial of former KenGen accountant Maurice Odundo.
