NASA chief executive Norman Magaya insists resignation of Attorney General Githu Muigai and subsequent appointments to JSC is a wider scheme to kick out Chief Justice David Maraga.
Moments after the nullification of August elections, President Uhuru Warned that he would 'revisit' the issue once reelected.
"The will not the people cannot be decided by six people. We cannot accept and I will soon revisit the issue," he said.
And after days of uncertainty about his future, a jovial Githu resigned on Wednesday to the shock of many legal practitioners.
But according to Magaya, his exit could mark the beginning of tribulations in the judiciary with Maraga being the top target.
"The main target here is Maraga and he will be kicked out despite the rigorous process. It won't take long before he is replaced with Muigai," he wrote on ODM WhatsApp group.
While justice Kihara Kariuki was nominated to replace Muigai, Uhuru also nominated Felix Kosgey and Olive Mugenda to JSC.
