Boigesa Education Committee (BEC) Organizing Secretary, Charles Ondimu has challenged university students from the local community to consider contributing to the welfare of their communities through various initiatives, including volunteer motivational and moral encouragement initiatives to other children who are in school as part of giving back to the community.

Speaking during the committee's merry-go-round fundraiser for Jason Momanyi Tinega's son studying at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT),Ondimu lamented that some university students who benefitted from the Committee's education harambees went underground after completing their university education and secured employment.

"I am concerned that after this Committee and the surrounding community members have invested their resources and energies to support needy university students from this community to further their education, some of them disappear immediately the complete their education and secure employment, instead of coming back to assist their community supporting others access and complete their university education," stated Ondimu.

Ondimu also challenged parents whose children have benefitted from community education harambees against restraining them from participating in local harambees meant to assist needy children from the community access and complete their university education successfully.
