The opposition coalition has been challenged to provide evidence on their allegations of IEBC's misdeeds.
Issuing a press release on Friday in Nairobi, the secretary general for the TNA party, Onyango Oloo has appealed to Cord to publicly table the evidence within their disposal over the wrongdoings that IEBC has so far been accused of. Oloo said that if the opposition successfully tables their evidence, then they do not find a reason as to why their Jubilee coalition should not join their protests.
The Jubilee affiliate further made their current stand on the IEBC issue noting that at the moment they could not identify any factual or rather tangible evidence that links the electoral body with misdeed that warrants a nationwide protest.
For the past two weeks, Cord has been making scathing attacks against the Kenya's electoral body citing lack of confidence in the body over their alleged plans to help Jubilee coalition secure a win in the 2017 elections.
So far, Kanu has expressed interest to participate on the Monday demonstrations with the Cord coalition. However, the IEBC commissioners have vowed not to quit their current positions until the expiry of their term.
