National Rainbow Coalition (Narc) party leader Charity Ngillu has endorsed Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka as the Nasa presidential flag bearer.
The former Lands Cabinet Secretary said her leadership alongside Kalonzo’s in the previous years, took Kenya to greater heights, and therefore she had confidence in him.
“When Kalonzo and worked together in 2002, Kenya became a better country,” she said, Tuesday.
Ngilu urged the Nasa principals to select the best candidate among themselves.
“The Nasa principal now must agree that there is need to get the best so that obviously the country can move on,” Ngilu said.
She also pledged to work closely with Nasa, adding that their unity would bring down Jubilee.
“This election will be a repeat of the 2002 general election when broad coalition of leaders united under the National Rainbow Coalition to defeat Kanu.”
Other Nasa principles who are eyeing the coalition’s flag bearer are Raila Odinga (ODM), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya).
