Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midwo has come into the defense of Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i saying he has initiated fundamental reforms in education sector.
This comes after claims by the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary-General Wilson Sossion that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination results released last month by Matiang’i were doctored.
"KNUT must leave Matiang'i alone because Matiang'i has made feel like a Kenyan. He is the only shining star in the Jubilee administration and my wish is that we give him a break," he said.
On August elections, Midiwo said he was confident that the opposition team would carry the day, adding that Jubilee administration has wretched the economy of the country.
"I am confident that Jubilee will lose in August because they have failed to manage the country. We have seen them panicking daily," he said.
