President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to vote him-in for another term for his government to complete projects they had started.

Speaking in Kiambu where he toured, he stated Jubilee’s successes in the last four years were electrification from 30 per cent to 50 per cent coverage, provision of free maternity and the installation of modern equipment in hospitals to accommodate for kidney and kidney patients.

He however cited projects such as the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) from Mombasa to Nairobi and education reforms needs to be completed.

“I have tried my best. All we are asking for is that you give us an opportunity to finish the work we started. We need another five years to finish what is in progress,'' Uhuru said, Saturday.

The head of State said his government was ready to take Kenyans to the next level, pointing out that Jubilee was not interested to take part in offensive politics.

“Our aim is to transform the lives of Kenyans. We are not interested in abusive and divisive politics. We have a program to take the country to higher levels in development and create jobs for our young people,” said the president.

Uhuru challenged the Opposition to tell Kenyans what they will do if they are elected, instead of talking of how they will take power.

“When you ask them what their agenda for the country is, all you get is how they want to unite just to take over power. I challenge them to table their manifesto just as we have done for everyone to see,” he added.
