A man frankly penned down a letter to his lover asking for space to watch the World Cup which is ongoing in Russia.
The letter, which made rounds on social media, left Kenyan netizens all smiley wondering how the recipient of the letter received the news therein.
The man explained why he would fail to answer some phone calls and texts from his lover asking her not to get mad whenever such happens. Here is what the letter said;
“This is to inform you that the FIFA World Cup is kicking off on Thursday 14th June 2018 and end on Sunday 15th July 2018. I hereby want to confess before that time comes that I might not be in a position to handle you and the World Cup at the same time. Whenever I delay replying your text please forgive me, If I will not pick your call to forgive me as well. If I am going to get home late, just know I will be from a game. I know you might have seen NTV advertising that it will broadcast some games, that’s a scam it will be broadcasting replays trust me. If I also decide to watch the replay please let us not argue over the remote. I love you so much,”
The much anticipated World Cup kicked off on 14th June and presently still in group stages. Kenyans have since vowed to watch the games up to finals.
