Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to allow the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to operate from the Harambee House.
This the Jubilee governor says will help enhance truce that was reached recently following surprise meeting between the President and the opposition chief.
“Raila wanted to visit Harambee house like he used to do and he was given that opportunity which is good for our country,” said Mandago in Eldoret on Thursday.
“The President should consider allowing him (Raila) to operate from Harambee house permanently by giving him an office there,” he added.
When he was the Prime Minister during the Grant Coalition government, Raila used to operate from the building which is now the nerve centre for the government's operations.
The vocal Jubilee governor further told other NASA co-principles to join hands with the government and help work for the good of the nation.
“I now pity other NASA co-principles as they have been left in the cold. We told them this will happen but they never listened,” noted Mandago.
“However it’s not too late, they can still join us o that we work together for the people across the political divide,” he added.
