He stated that the former premier served jointly as a co-principal with former president Mwai Kibaki during the coalition government and therefore deserves the same package as his counterpart.

He said that Raila should not be denied the package while Moi and Kibaki are leaving in palatial homes with all the benefits that befits a leader who once served in a particular public office.

Osele who was speaking to the media after attending a church service at Kisumu Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, dismissed jubilee leaders over their pre-condition that Raila must retire from politics for him to enjoy his perks.

“President Moi is always involved in politics actively even giving pieces of advice to the president and his deputy, yet no one is raising the same. Raila’s situation should not be treated otherwise,” said Osele. He warned the government against playing politics and targeting Coalition for Reforms and democracy leaders.

“Why does the government fear giving Raila and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka their perks? The government should really come clean on this,” said Osele.
