Kisii county government has been challenged to give Gusii commuter Sacco a Matatu stage in Kisii town as per agreement made or they meet in court.
Gusii commuter Sacco manager Nyayo Sironga said that they received a license from Kisii county government on October 6th, 2016 that allows them to have their Matatu stage for Kisii –Keroka route behind St Jude’s buildings in Kisii town but they are not operating at the place.
Speaking to journalist on Monday in Kisii town, Sironga said when they went at St Judes to start their operations they were chased away by some of the bodaboda operators who claimed that the place belongs to them and challenged the county government to come out clear and intervene in the situation or else meet in court.
“We have the license from Kisii county government which allows us to have our Matatu stage behind St Jude’s buildings in Kisii town but we were chased away by bodaboda riders let the county tell us exactly the place we paid for when we received the license or we meet in court,” said Sironga.
