The President on Thursday last week announced plans to audit the officers and warned that those who won't explain their source of wealth will lose their stolen properties and be jailed."We are going to ask hard questions on how you acquired your wealth. If you don't have answers, there is someone in Kamiti Prison waiting for you," said Uhuru.Speaking during a Sunday service at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in Thika, Muchomba said the initiative will go a long way in eradicating graft in the country but requested that the money recovered from corrupt individuals be given to Women Representatives. She noted the funds allocated to them through the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) was not enough and said the money recovered by Assets Recovery Agency and Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) should be channelled to NGAAF."I am appealing to our dear President to order that money recovered be given to Women Reps so they can succeed in their mandate of helping the disadvantaged in their counties. Women are merciful and thus good agents of change in the society," she said.
