Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga has said in no uncertain terms said that Kenyans will not stand for the IEBC because the IEBC did not stand for Kenyans.
She said that the IEBC currently constituted had served its purpose and the members should leave.
''In a much as I think that there is a hand involved, I think they should leave because they have served their term. We can only not stand for IEBC because the IEBC did not stand up for Kenyans,'' the outspoken Women Rep said.
Hon. Gladys Wanga spoke Wednesday morning during a panel discussion on a television programme.
Her words come in the context of the withdrawal of the security of IEBC commissioners.
The IEBC found itself in the eye of a political storm in the 2017 elections after the opposition demanded its disbandment.
Ezra Chiloba, the IEBC CEO, was suspended by the Chairman Wafula Chebukati allegedly over issues around procurement.
