[Photo| Hon Gladys Wanga/Facebook]Homa Bay County woman representative Gladys Wanga has accused police of using excessive force on the National Super Alliance (Nasa) supporters for turning up at JKIA to receive Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Friday.Several people were reported dead after the supporters clashed with police during Raila's homecoming.Others were reported to have been shot dead by police in Nairobi and Migoro on Monday after the final verdict of the Supreme Court on presidential election petitions. Speaking on Wednesday at Kibra constituency in Nairobi, Wanga likened the killings to genocide and requested the International Criminal Court to come and investigate."It is a genocide and we asking ICC to come in. A pattern of ethnic cleansing is emerging against the Luo, Kisii, Luhya and Kamba communities," said Wanga as quoted by the Star.The Homa Bay legislator was in the company of Millie Odhiambo (Suba South), Florence Mutua (Busia woman representative), Pamela Odhiambo (Migori woman representative) and Christine Ombaka (Siaya woman representative).They had gone to Kamkunji grounds in Kibera to meet families of opposition supporters who were killed and sympathise with those that were injured during the confrontation with police.
