The Homa Bay county woman representative Gladys Wanga has called on parents to play their part in instilling good morals in their children.

She said this on Sunday at Moi Girls Sindo Secondary School in Homa Bay  when she donated blankets, mattresses, beds and foodstuff after a fire that razed one of the dormitories a fortnight ago. 

She said; "As parents, we need to inculcate discipline in our children  to avoid such losses. Many parents have absconded their roles and hence the increase in children who lack good morals. We must go back to the drawing board if we want our children to be responsible in their future."
