Deputy President William Ruto has said that God should frustrate any rigging attempts in today's election.
Speaking through his official twitter account, Ruto said that Kenyans should be shielded against lies and confusion so that they choose him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"God in heaven, silence every rumour and lie, frustrate any scheme to rig or steal...destroy any plan for chaos, confusion or violence. Amen."
Earlier on Monday, President Kenyatta called for peace and insisted on the need for people to go home and await results after casting the ballot paper.
