Two old women prayed to God that he blesses them with a car.
They prayed for this since they were young girls.
At the age of 77, one of the women stood up in church and asked the pastor and the church if they would accompany her after service to pray for her new car and before the pastor even said anything, the other woman whom they had been praying together shouted a big AMEN.
Surprised, the pastor asked her why she shouted Amen, where she disclosed that they had been praying together and that since her friend's prayers had been answered she was sure her blessing was also on the way.
Two weeks down the line the other woman was driving too. At 77 years! This is a story given by my pastor during his Sunday service sermon.
Speaking to a friend, she told me that she waited for four years before joining her current college after completing secondary education. Asking her how she managed it, two strong words came out of her mouth, determination and patience.
As we start the month of April, I would also like to encourage you reading this, it has taken time before all what you have planned with your life come true, you even think that you are losing track to the extent of even giving up.
It's time you rediscover your patience and determination to hit your goals, You remember your 2015 resolutions? Stop putting them aside thinking that it's late to achieve them. Involve God, be determined, be patient and all will be well.
