US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec has asked Kenyans to draw lessons from the just concluded US elections.

“While elections bring change, what does not change is our faith in our constitution, the rule of law and our strong institutions,” Godec said.

Godec said that a successful democratic election would help Kenya achieve her dreams.

He assured Kenya of Sh2.5 billion from the US to aid in the 2017 polls.

“It is our hope that under Trump, the US will continue to support democracy and promote good governance and human rights around the world,'' added the envoy.

He was speaking at his residence in Nairobi.
