United States ambassador Robert Godec is under pressure to forfeit his seat following mounting accusations from Raila Odinga's NASA.
Last week, Godec demanded that the opposition recognises President Uhuru Kenyatta before any meaningful dialogue takes place.
"We urge the opposition to recognise Uhuru's leadership before we convene the national conversation," he said in a statement that has caused jitters from the opposition team.
For month's now, the US has been pushing for dialogue between Uhuru and Raila but nothing is yet to materialise.
But on Friday, the opposition had called for protests to push Godec out of the country by labeling him a 'Jubilee strategist'.
"We shall not be party to dialogue initiated by Godec. They have an amoeba laced with capitalism and imperialism. They are the worst exports to Kenya," said Norman Magaya.
According to the circular sent by Philip Etale, NASA was to convene protests outside US's embassy in Gigiri on Friday.
