"However, I believe this signified their united efforts in fighting corruption and other challenges facing the country."
Kenya, according to Transparency International's latest index on corruption is still among the most corrupt nations in the world having stood at position 143 out of the 180 countries sampled.
The country attained the 143th position after registering a minimal improvement from its 145th position globally.

In 2016 President Uhuru Kenyatta during an address to the nation at State House Nairobi public admitted that he had failed to fight corruption within government.
"I have no role in persecuting yet I stand accused that the executive is not doing enough, ladies and gentlemen what do you want me to do?" the head of State said then.
