Goldalyn Kakuya,the girl who beat all the others to top the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education chart,will now join the secondary school of her dream,the Kenya High School.
According to the Citizen Digital,the former St Anne Junior School Lubao student who scored 455 out of the possible 500 marks in the exam,was the first one to be selected when the exercise kicked off on Monday at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).
Another top scorer,Caroline Nkatha,who garnered 445 marks,will start her secondary school education at the Alliance Girls High School when admission starts.
The body also gave a number to be used by all the other candidates who sat for the exam to know their respective schools in advance.
They will be required to send their respective index numbers to 20042 and will also be able to download their Form One admission letters from the internet.
The exercise was kicked off by Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i.
