The ouster of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, will make him lose the benefits that he enjoyed as a Senate Minority Leader.
While in the position, he used to enjoy a myriad of goodies which include a superior pay package, vehicles, enhanced security and nine employees paid for by the state.
ODM senators are unstoppable in ensuring Wetangula is kicked out.
“Being a separate institution, we met and deliberated in replacing him with Orengo and we are not drawing back,” said the Narok Senator Ledama ole kina.
Outside the Panafric Hotel, Raila Odinga, the ODM party leader, said that the fate of Wetangula will be determined after the summit meeting that is going to be conducted later on.
An ODM member said the summit would not be of any effect since they had agreed and will not rescind the decision.
“If Raila failed to rescind the decision on his own senators, nothing will come out of it in the summit,” the ODM member said.
Before his eviction from office, Wetangula enjoyed multiple perks and a budget for his office.
