Western Stima coach Henry Omino believes the KPL clash pitting his team and Gor Mahia scheduled for Wednesday September 19, will determine who wins the league title this season.
Inconsistency has dogged Gor Mahia's title defense in the past few weeks and they are up against high-flying Stima, a team that has tormented many sides in the past few weeks.
Speaking ahead of the match, Omino is convinced that the winner of the match will have a bearing on who wins the league with both sides remaining in contention of the accolade alongside table-topping Thika United.
"The match will determine the winner of the league this season," he said.
"The race is still open but we'll have a clearer picture after the Gor Mahia match. We know they are favourites going into the match but we are going for a win in the game and we'll give all our best to pick maximum points from the match."
A win for the power men will see them close the gap between them and Gor Mahia to one point and resurrect their hopes to win their maiden KPL title.
Gor Mahia won 1-0 in their first leg match.
