Harambee Stars has suffered a huge setback after key Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava was ruled out of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
Shakava will not be joining teammates Wellingtone Ochieng and Musa Mohamed in the defence partnership after he sustained an injury.
Because of his unavailability, Zoo Kericho's Isaac Kipyegon has been handed the slot.
Shakava has produced a stellar defence performance for his club in the just-concluded Kenya Premier League where Gor was the team with the meanest defence.
He was instrumental in Gor Mahia's winning of the 2018 KPL trophy.
