Ulinzi Stars forward Sammy Onyango could soon be spotted in Gor Mahia colours following reports that the league champions are at an advanced stage of signing him.
Onyango has been in a blistering form for both club and country,a situation that has earned him some keen interest from the 16-times champions as well as immediate former champions Tusker FC.
"Onyango wants to join Gor Mahia and he is a player we are interested in.We are making progress and what remains is for the clubs to agree.He's a soldier and as such the situation is a bit complicated but we hope to finalize everything soon," the source revealed to Futaa .com.
Should the deal go through then the dangerman will be the second player to ditch the Benjamin Nyangweso squad after Stephen Waruru who indicated that he plans to pursue other dreams.
