Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia will do all they can to emerge victorious in the coming season.
This is according to Coach Dylan Kerr, who spoke two days after the team won against bitter rivals AFC Leopards.
The coach has further called on the government and other corporates to come on boards and support the game in the country.
“For the good of football, for the good of sports, for the good of Kenyan sports; athletics, swimming, we need sponsorships. We need to go the next level, and that is why we need the support,” He added:
“We need the support because everybody wants to successes. I feel proud when I came to the country because I know how rich the country is in athletics, we want to do that with football,”
He further mentioned on the talent the country has and said the country can do well in sports if the right foundations were laid.
Sportpesa cancelled their sponsorship of local clubs, after their disagreement on taxes by that the government had further imposed on betting.
