Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has revealed that the 16-times champions will be going for total points overhaul in the upcoming 2018 season.
K'ogallo were crowned champions last season after collecting a massive 74 points from 34 outings and attaining an unassailable lead at the helm with several matches to spare.
And now the Englishman believes that the team is better poised to reap even more points in the new season.
Speaking to the club's website on Thursday, the former Simba SC tactician expressed optimism that his charges will even be more impressive this season.
"We did well that season and the bar have been set already. We have to win the league with a bigger point margin than last season," Kerr said.
In a bid to achieve the set target, the club recently spent massively in the transfer window where they brought in several experienced stars both from within the Kenyan topflight league as well as from outside.
The club brought in Ivorian striker Ephram Guikan from Mauritanian side AS Port Louis, Humphrey Mieno from Tusker, Lawrence Juma from Nzoia, Wesley Onguso formerly of Sofapaka, Sammy Onyango from Ulinzi among other players.
However, the club lost the services of its veteran captain Musa Mohammed and midfielder Kenneth Muguna who moved to Albanian side KF Tirana.
