Renowned Gor Mahia fan Jaro Soja caused a scene on Wednesday during a function attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto among other top leaders.
The function at Embakasi was to issue title deeds to residents.
As the function went on course, Jaro sprinted from the crowd and went straight to the dais where the President and his deputy were sitting.
However, when he was a few steps from the Head of State, the President’s hawk-eyed security detail swung into action and blocked him.
They roughed him up as they pushed him back to the crowd as Uhuru and Ruto watched.
The VIP protection could not allow him breach protocol and meet Kenya’s powerful man.
