Gor Mahia fans have been spotted in a Nakuru forest singing and praying.
According to the supporters, they have decided to retire to the forest to seek 'healing' for their team from 'above'.
The fans were led by renowned supporter Jaro Soja who said they sought 'special powers' for the team.
“We fasted for God to intervene. We suspected Gor’s poor show in the KPL could be as a result of our detachment from our Maker. I thus mobilized Gor Mahia fans from Nakuru and its environs to hold a retreat in a Nakuru bush,” he said.
The team is currently second in the KPL table with 40 points.
It has played 23 games with a game in hand. League leaders are Tusker FC with 45 points, with four matches to go.
