Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia have expressed interest is signing Tanzanian giants Simba FC defender Mohammed Hussein.
Reports indicate that Gor Mahia tactician Dylan Kerr has been keenly monitoring the right back who is also Simba's vice captain.
The Englishman is looking forward to marshalling his defence ahead of the Confederation of African Championship (Caf) in January and Hussein who was instrumental in helping Simba win the Tanzanian league last season could be a good addition.
When contacted on the same, the defender was coy about the interest but revealed that he cannot rule out a move to the Kenyan giants.
"Gor Mahia is a big club and if they are interested in my services then I can't turn it down ", he told Goal.com.
Hussein is the reigning Tanzanian premier league player of the year and could easily fill the big void left by Burundian defender Karim Nizigiyimana who faces a lengthy lay off after a 'neer career threatening' injury.
He is the second foreigner to be linked with the 16 times Kenyan champs aftet Ivorian striker Ephram Geitan.
