Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia have begun a search for possible replacements for injured right back Karim Nizigiyimana.
The Burundian suffered a near 'career threatening injury' in October and is expected to be out of action until late February even as Kogallo prepares for the Caf championship slated for January 2018.
Latest reports indicate that the thirteen times champions are now considering a move for Nakumatt's defensive pair of Nicholas Meja and Kennedy Onyango in abid to bolster their squad both for the continental assignment and the new season.
As source fron Kogallo revealed to a local sports website Futaa.com that plans are afoot to bring the duo on board.
"They are players we are looking at Initial talks have taken place abd we are hopeful that they will agree to join the Green Army", the source revealed.
Gor's head coach Dylan Kerr had earlier indicated his desire to shine at the continental scene saying that the champions have proved their mettle domestically.
