Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna could be on his way out of the reigning Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions with several European clubs angling for his services.

The reining KPL most valuable player (MVP) was instrumental for K'ogalo as he helped them secure their sixteenth title with several matches left to go.

However he could be headed to Europe and club chairman Ambrose Rachier said that they would not stand on his way even as he revealed that a French club is the latest entrant in the race for the playmaker's signature.

"Muguna is an excellent player and it's normal that clubs get interested in signing him. There is an official communication from a club in Georgia and another in Albania. He tells me there is also a club in France interested but I'm not privy to that one", Rachier told Futaa com.

"We can never hold on to a player should he get a chance to progress his career overseas. When you look at our past we've always allowed our players leave once they get a chance to better their lives.Clubs interested in Muguna should just speak to us and I believe we can always reach an agreement that will protect the interest of both the player and the club", he added.

Albanian side FK Tirana and Georgian Kolkheti Poti are some of the clubs the former Western Stima man has been linked with.

Gir Mahia are lining up a bid for Nzoia Sugar's Lawrence Juma as his replacement should he leave.
