Sportpesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC will receive this year’s trophy on Saturday after their last Premier League game against Sony Sugar FC.
The match will be played in Kisumu.
The Dylan Kerr led team clinched the league title on October 21 after beating Ulinzi Stars 1-0 with four matches to spare.
Gor claimed a 1-0 win over Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday and will lock horns with Sony Sugar this Saturday in their last game this season before receiving their Sportpesa Premier League trophy.
The last time Gor Mahia won the league was in 2015 when they finished the season unbeaten.
This season Gor Mahia FC have won 22 matches, drew seven and lost four after playing 33 games so far.
The team is 21 points clear in the log table with 73 points while Sofapaka is in the second position with 52 points. Posta Rangers FC is third on 50 points.
