Gor Mahia will play English Championship side Hull City in an international friendly match on May 13, 2018, in Nairobi.

"We are playing Hull City on 13th May at Kasarani. The sponsors have officially communicated and we are looking forward to the game,” Gor Mahia Organizing Secretary Judith Anyango is quoted by Futaa.com.

The match is being organized by betting firm, Sportpesa; the company sponsors both Gor Mahia and Hull City.

According to the plan, Hull City coaches are also expected to conduct clinics during that period.

Early last year, a KPL select team dubbed Sportpesa All-Stars traveled to England where they played Hull City’s junior side and lost the match 1-2.

Mid last year, Gor Mahia went down 1-2 against English Premier League (KPL) Everton in a Club friendly match played in Tanzania.

Gor Mahia have started this season strongly. The team currently leads KPL log with 16 matches after playing seven matches this season.

The team recently dropped to the CAF Confederations Cup after being bundled out of the CAF Champions League by Tunisian giants Esperance.
