The Super Cup clash between perennial rivals Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards on Sunday will be a tough match, a section of fans supporting the two teams in Kisumu have said.AFC Leopards Kisumu Branch fans Association Secretary General Jackton Mulanda says the match will be a tough nut to crack.“It will be a difficult match. The team that will use its chances will win. If AFC Leopards players utilise their chances they will win, same to Gor Mahia,” he said. Daniel Otieno who is a Gor Mahia fan associated with the Gor Mahia fans Kondele branch said the match will be too close to call.He, however, expressed optimism that the mighty K’Ogalo will carry the day.“Musa Mohamed and Kenneth Muguna have left but we have made new signings who are able to carry the team forward. It will be a difficult encounter but Gor Mahia will carry the day,” he said.Mohamed and Muguna recently left Gor Mahia to join Albania’s FK Tirana.AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia will lock horns on Sunday at the Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium, one week before the 2018 Kenya Premier League (KPL) season kicks off.The Super Cup clash acts as KPL season kick off curtain-raiser. The match features KPL Champions and GOtv Shield champions.
