Gor Mahia Head Coach Dylan Kerr has said that the club's lethal forward Jacques Tuyisenge will miss CAF Champions return leg match against Leones Vegetarionos of Equatorial Guinea due to injury.
Speaking on Tuesday after club arrived for the fixture, the tactician said it is a disappointment which they will have to put up with in order to accomplish their goal of qualifying for the next round of the international tournament.
Kerr said that even though the Rwandese player has been fiery in front of goal, he is optimistic that the attackers currently available the squad will help K'Ogalo sail through to the next stage.
Despite Gor Mahia crushing their hosts 2-0 in the first leg played at Machakos stadium, the Coach has said that they will play attacking football to ensure they clinch victory against their opponents.
"I trust the squad I have. We are going for a win so that we qualify for the next round with our heads held high," said Kerr.
However, a draw of whatever score will guarantee the Kenya Premier League(KPL) defending Champions progress while ending Vegetarionos motive to sail through.
His sentiments were echoed by the team's Captain Harun Shakava who said that even though they will be playing away, they are confident that they will emerge victoriously.
The Coach is expected to name Medie Kagere and Kevin 'Äde' Omondi as the team's main attackers following Tuyisenge's absence.
