[Photo|Gor Mahia FC]"As we continue enjoying our Christmas, we can use the remaining days of the year 2017 to bring in some elements of flashback - incidents that made our days or 'annoyed' us.Of course winning the 16th title was one of the best things but we have two major incidents/ items that we think made us be more proud of Gor Mahia.1. Club Chairman Ambrose Rachier, head coach Dylan Kerr, Assistant coach Zico, Team Manager Jolawi Obondo and one important figure within Gor Mahia circles Victor Kidiwa sparing time to visit the injured player (Karim) with family at his home - to present the trophy, his champion T-Shirt and his medal. Remember Karim missed the coronation day in Kisumu after the surgery which will keep him out of active football for four months. That was for sure a big one and it showed how Gor is a family and how the club values its players. Those are some of the things that put a clear white line between Gor and other teams in Kenya.2. The new constitution. We may not have got the 'perfect' document all fans would have wished for but at least we got something better that the 1968 one page thing that existed for many decades. Quite a number of elements were captured in the new document and if well implemented, Gor will move many steps ahead. Of course, amendments can always be made as we move along. Worst moments...Mathare United beating us home and away. Do we have any other local team that pulled the same on Gor in the last 10 years? Ooh Lord... that was the worst." - Gor Mahia FC.
