Gor seemed to have been strolling to an easy win, after taking a 2-0 first-half lead at the Machakos-based grounds.

However, Batoto ba Mungu hit back in stunning fashion in the second half and took the lead in the dying minutes of the match.

Gor never gave up and showed their mettle with a last-minute equalizer to send the fans into a frenzy and see the match end 3-3.

The point kept them at the helm of the Kenya Premier League standings ahead of Ulinzi Stars and Mathare United. Gor has been away from league action for the past two weeks, having played Hull City and CAF Confederation Cup tie against USM Algier of Algeria.

Dylan Kerr continued with his rotation formula to give the team fresh legs, considering they have played 4 matches in 11 days.

Meddie Kagere gave the champions the lead in the 10th minute and continued to dominate the match.

They extended their lead in the 34th minute after Bernard Ondiek headed past Mathias Kigonya for a two-nil lead.

Things, however, got messy in the second half, when Sofapaka pulled one back through former AFC Leopards Kepha Aswani.

Substitute Ezekiel Okare scored two quick goals to level and give his team the lead in a span of five crazy minutes, only for Innocent Wafula to score in the 92nd minute.
