Innocent Wafula’s late goal meant Gor went home with a point to show for it after being in great danger of losing the tie.

Sofapaka’s Ezekiel Okare’s second half brace meant Gor had to employ all their firepower to overcome a determined Batoto Ba Mungu side.

Kepha Aswani then cut Sofapaka’s deficit when he found the back of the net six minutes after the restart.

Okare leveled the scores in the 84th minute before going on tocomplete his brace two minutes later.

The late drama that also saw Wafula get on the scoresheet late on meant the contest was completed in scintillating fashion with Gor luckily escaping with a point.
