Gor were forced to settle for the draw, even after taking the lead early on in the first half.

Humphrey Miano gave Gor the lead in the 4th minute before Ephrem Guikan made it 2-0 before the break.

However, Chemelil battled back to draw with the Kenyan Champions, who have been in good form in recent matches.

Gor will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the league with a win against Francis Kimanzi’s charges, in a match that will be played on Sunday at the Machakos Stadium.

Gor are currently perched at the top of the table with 26 points, three points above their next opponents; Mathare, but they have played two matches fewer.

The team is enjoying sensational form, and their confidence was boosted with their qualification for the next round the CAF Cup tournament after beating Supersport United of South Africa.
