K'ogalo are set to lock horns with the arch- rivals AFC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League's first leg of the 2018 Mashemeji Derby.
K'ogalo's number one fan Jaro Soja is sure of an easy victory over Ingwe, and he is ready to give away his colourful Motorbike to a willing AFC Leopards fan, who will come out for a bet.
“I love Gor Mahia and I always believe that we can beat AFC Leopards at any time. I value the club as much as I value my beast (the bike). In this regard, I will not hesitate to give it out to any AFC Leopards’ fan, who can challenge me to a bet,” Soja told Let’s Bet.
The ‘Commander in Chief’ as he is known by the Green Army, pegs his decision on the club’s recent performance against the Rodolfo Zapata coached outfit.
“Look, we have beaten Ingwe in all our meetings this year. Why should we spoil the game with a loss when it matters the most?” he said while referring to the recent win en route to the Hull City encounter in May.
“I want a serious AFC Leopards fan to challenge me. One who will be ready to offer me a house in Nairobi. My wish is not to evade the joke of paying rent in the city, but to have complete freedom and full control of a house, just like the one I have at home. Most of these landlords don’t understand my love for Gor Mahia resulting in unnecessary trouble when I paint the houses in K’Ogalo colours,” he said.
