Evidence collected by Kaijiado Central MP Elijah Memusi will be submitted to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
On Monday, the MP claimed he has evidence against the government accusing them of using state resources to fund a competitors campaign.
"We do this to ensure, on behalf of the people, that the government spends taxpayers' money in a prudent and transparent manner," he said as reported by The Star.He shared with journalists that one of his jobs as a national assembly member is overseeing.
Memusi believes that the Jubilee candidate in the area has been using state resources transfered by the Interior ministry.
"A vehicle belonging to Interior ministry of registration number KAE 612X, previously registered as GK 069R and driven by a prisons officer, is currently being used by a JP aspirant for Kajiado Central," Memusi said.
The legislator is believed to have also shared the issue with Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and has discouraged such malpractices due to the current security threat.
"If the ministry does not recall the vehicle, we shall exercise our sovereign powers, seize it peacefully and return it to the nearest police station," he stated.
